After clicking through a bunch of articles all outlining the same basic social media breakdowns, I'm wondering if anyone has come across anything that outlines HOW different demographics use social media. For instance, I don't care that 54% of women "use" Instagram. What I do want is to know that W35-44 are more likely to browse their IG feed as opposed to watching their IG stories.
With so many different avenues to "use" a social media platform, I'm really struggling to identify where we should be putting our resources for content creation. For instance, my partner rarely scrolls through her Instagram feed, but is constantly watching stories. Does that behavior cross age demographics? Or if my target is older, is it more worthwhile to focus on content for feed?
